We are looking for a MAP Systems Engineer to come onboard in our Engineering Directorate in Frédéric LAHITETTE

’s team: a team of10 collaborators!

Your Mission

  • You will work on the Airbus Saint-Martin site, interfacing with Production, Quality and Engineering. Your main tasks will include:
  • Providing technical support throughout the aircraft production cycle
  • Provide technical solutions in the framework of non-conformities (NC) and perform a follow-up and analysis of the recurring points, in collaboration with the quality, the engineering center of competences, the suppliers and the partners (Airbus, Leonardo).
  • Ensuring conformity with the design objectives in the context of the production cycle
  • Dealing with events reported by Quality (non-conformities, queries, assembly anomalies) and following up and analyzing recurring points in cooperation with the Engineering specialists
  • Maintaining the interface with the Engineering specialists from different functions but also with our main suppliers LEONARDO and AIRBUS

Your Activities
Your main activities will consist in:

  • To daily support the production and quality throughout the aircraft assembly process in FAL, for system topics (hydro-mechanical, flight controls, powerplant, air system, avionics, electrical generation).
  • Analyzing and answering questions raised by Quality (non-conformities), identifying recurring items and proposing solutions
  • Ensuring follow-up of queries and creating concessions in coordination with the Systems Engineering specialists
  • Participating in production progress meetings
  • Managing priorities in collaboration with the FAL
  • To ensure the technical interface with customers during the aircraft delivery process.

Since the activity is related to production needs, on-call duties may be required: On-site (weekends and bank holidays), or by phone (evenings and weekends) during closure periods.

About you

  • Higher education
  • 10 years Aeronautics experience
  • Fluent English language to talk with customers and partners
  • Background in system domain including troubleshooting
  • Extensive experience in systems, aerodynamics, engines, and structures
  • Good knowledge of aircraft systems design, knowledge of certification needs/constraints for system modifications
  • Knowledge of industrial processes on the FAL
  • IT skills: SAP PGI for AM and Litiges, SAP PAC for concessions, Office suite (Excel, Word, PPT). Knowledge of CATIA V5 would be a plus.
  • Good relationship and ability to communicate with customers and colleagues
  • Capacity to present, to explain an issue and to propose a solution… but above all, you are ready to take off with us to keep connecting communities and businesses and provide the best possible products and support to our customers

Nous recherchons un IngénieurMAP Systèmes pour rejoindre notre Engineering au sein de l'équipe de MAP Support Production: une équipe de10 collaborateurs !

Votre mission

  • Prendre les décisions adaptées en autorisant les conditions de vol sur les aéronefs de série.
  • Apporter des recommandations, garantir et valider la configuration de chaque avion en soutien à la direction des Essais en Vol
  • Apporter un soutien technique aux Opérations (qualité, production, livraisons).
  • Proposer des projets d'amélioration.
  • Gérer des projets de développement jusqu’à la certification des modifications ou aux enquêtes relatives à la navigabilité.
  • Assister les essais en vol pour les analyses DFDR/QAR, la préparation des vols, la documentation et le soutien technique.

  • Etudes supérieures
  • 10 ans d'expérience en Aéronautique
  • Anglais lu et parlé couramment pour répondre, expliquer aux clients et traiter les sujets avec les Partenaires
  • Expérience notamment en dépannage
  • Forte expérience dans le domaine des systèmes, aérodynamique, moteurs, structure
  • Bonne connaissance de la conception des systèmes aéronautiques et des exigences/contraintes de certification pour les modifications de systèmes
  • Connaissance des processus industriels sur la chaîne d'essais en phase finale (FAL)
  • Excellentes aptitudes relationnelles et de communication avec les clients et les collègues.
  • Capacité à présenter, à expliquer un problème et à proposer une solution.
