Make your mark in our Distribution Team
We are reimagining how we help customers to manage risk, transforming our operating model, and reshaping our role responsibilities and career pathways. As our Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing one of the national segment teams in CDMX and driving outsized profitable growth within our national brokers. The goal is to unlock the full potential in each colleague – empowering our people to grow as insurance professionals and add more value to our customers and AIG.
How you will create an impact
Our Agency and Distribution team manage AIG’s major client relationships across all product lines, with a strong focus on retention as well as driving new business activity. The team serves major clients and broker partners through an elevated, personalized experience – our client-centric framework drives a consistent experience and best practices, while allowing flexibility to meet the client’s needs.
What you’ll need to succeed

- Experience leading high‑performance commercial teams, focus on sales and retention targets
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance lines (P&C, Financial Lines, Marine, etc.)
- Experience developing and executing commercial strategies

- Proven leadership that develops talent, drives accountability, and elevates team performance
- Advanced communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills with brokers, C‑level clients, and internal stakeholders
- Avoid providing a long list of requirements as it can discourage potentially relevant candidates from applying.
- We are aiming to follow a skills-based hiring approach. Therefore, do not state qualifications as a requirement unless the role absolutely warrants it (e.g. finance roles may need ACCA or CIMA in the UK).
