Job Description

Lead the PSD (Informatics & Automation) business across SAJK to drive regional strategy, revenue growth, and enterprise transformation in pharma, biopharma, and applied markets.

  • Define and execute the SAJK Informatics & Automation (PSD) strategy, driving competitive differentiation and expanding Agilent’s presence across pharma, biopharma, diagnostics, government, and industrial labs.
  • Translate global PSD priorities into regional execution plans, aligning with customer digital transformation journeys—including CDS, ELN/LIMS, LES, workflow automation, robotics, and connected‑lab initiatives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to SAJK and APAC leadership, shaping medium‑ to long‑term digital and automation growth plans for the region.
  • Lead, develop, and engage a team of Informatics & Automation specialists, including solution architects, workflow specialists, and technical consultants across South Asia, Japan, Korea, and India.
  • Build deep technical and application expertise in areas such as data integrity, GxP workflows, integration (API, OPC, middleware), scheduling, and robotic automation to support enterprise‑scale transformation.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, high‑performance culture focused on customer outcomes and digital adoption.
  • Drive the development of high‑impact demonstrations, proofs of concept, and workflow solutions that address critical challenges in QC, R&D, NGS, multi‑omics, and high‑throughput automated labs.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Services to ensure tight alignment across the end‑to‑end customer lifecycle—from discovery and evaluation to deployment, validation, and expansion.
  • Strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty through differentiated digital engagement, technical consulting, and value‑based solutioning.
  • Deliver regional PSD financial goals, including ARR, TCV, automation system sales, and overall contribution to cross‑portfolio growth (instruments, consumables, and services).
  • Maintain strong focus on the Informatics & Automation portfolio—ensuring seamless integration with hardware, consumables, and Cross Lab Services to deliver end‑to‑end operational solutions.
  • Drive content creation, digital engagement, and scalable technical enablement (webinars, digital demos, virtual labs) to support modern selling models and expand customer reach across SAJK.
  • Work closely with regional leadership teams across SAJK to optimize coverage, prioritize opportunities, and ensure agility across diverse markets such as Japan, Korea, India, and South Asia.
  • This position will be open for any location in SAJK.
