Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Talent Growth and Capability Lead

to accelerate next generation talent at Agilent. This role will: - lead the design, evolution and implementation of ourhigh potential talent development program. The high potential program will be a key enabler of our talent and succession strategy—designed to identify, accelerate, and retain high-performing talent across the organization. It will provide targeted development, visibility, and growth opportunities for individuals with the capability and aspiration to take on leadership and other enterprise impact roles.

  • lead key capability-buildinginitiatives, including identification of critical skills and behaviors needed to elevate strategic growth and the roadmap to build those competencies.

Key responsibilities

  • Design & lead Agilent’s next generation global high performance talent program and related initiatives, including frameworks, tools, and processes to identify and accelerate high-potential and top-performing employees.

  • Partner with the Head of Executive Succession and Enterprise Talent to ensure the next generation pipeline is aligned with and feeds C-suite and critical role succession strategy.

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Insights Analyst to define success metrics and use data to track program effectiveness, participant progress, and business impact.

  • Work with Leadership Development and Learning & Development colleagues to align development offerings with the needs of high-potential talent.

  • Design and manage a portfolio of enterprise-level stretch assignments and cross-functional projects to accelerate development and exposure.

  • Facilitate executive visibility and sponsorship opportunities for program participants.

  • Build and maintain an alumni tracking process to monitor long-term impact and inform program evolution.

  • Monitor external trends to ensure the program remains innovative and competitive.

  • Position the program and related initiatives as a key enabler of Agilent’s operating model and enterprise success.

  • Drive enterprise capability building by embedding skill development, leadership behaviors, and future-ready competencies into talent strategies and experiences.

  • Partner across HR and business functions to identify skill gaps and design targeted skills interventions that strengthen organizational readiness, capability and agility.

  • Lead or contribute to enterprise-wide projects and initiatives, including transformation activities, aimed at building critical capabilities that enable strategic growth, innovation, and organizational agility.

  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior HR and business leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field (Masters preferred).

  • 8+ years of experience in HR program management, talent management, or leadership development, ideally in a global or matrixed organization.

  • Proven ability to design and scale enterprise-wide talent programs focused on high-potential or high-performing populations.

  • Strong project management skills – managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

  • Experience using data analytics to inform program design and measure impact.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $136,896.00 - $213,900.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
