Job Description

Agilent inspires and supports discoveries that advance the quality of life. We provide life science, diagnostics, and applied market laboratories worldwide with instruments, services, consumables, applications, and expertise. Agilent enables customers to gain the answers and insights they seek—so they can do what they do best: improve the world around us. Learn more at www.agilent.com.

The Certified Pre‑Owned (CPO) Instrument Business is a top choice for budget‑conscious customers seeking high‑quality, pre‑owned Agilent analytical instruments that meet the same standards for performance and post‑sale ownership protection as new Agilent instruments. As budgets decrease and demands for productivity increase, customers need reliable, high-quality equipment at affordable prices. Instruments are sourced from various channels and undergo comprehensive cleaning, refurbishment, and testing according to Agilent standards and specifications before resale through Agilent's Certified Pre-Owned Instrument program. As the CPO business rapidly grows and expands globally, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

  • Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Review, follow, and help maintain factory work instructions.

  • Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to learn and cross‑train across additional product portfolios.

Qualifications

  • Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred. Candidates with relevant higher education, specialized training/certifications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

  • Typically requires 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in instrument repair, maintenance, calibration, or related technical roles.

  • Experience with Agilent LC, GC, and Mass Spectrometry products is highly preferred.

  • Relevant work experience in troubleshooting - software and hardware.

  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Demonstrated expertise with ERP Systems (SAP / Agile).

  • Ability to assist peers with complex technical issues.

  • Proficiency in Excel for data entry and report generation.

  • Understanding of bill of materials (BOM), part numbering, and product configurations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global team members.

  • Customer‑focused mindset with strong self‑motivation.

  • Comfortable working in environments with shifting priorities and frequent interruptions.

  • High degree of ownership, diligence, and attention to detail.
