Job Description: PRN, as neededPRN Rate: $47.58/hour Coverage Need: Monday

• Friday Days No Call Requirement

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.

• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low. Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.

• Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.

• Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.

• Performs and documents daily system quality control (QC) checks in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds Required
• Knowledge of MRI procedures Required
• Knowledge of MRI scanners Required
• Ability to learn and grow with new technology Required
• Customer Service skills Required

Education:

• Associate Preferred
• High School Grad or Equiv Required

Work Experience:

• 1+ years experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program Preferred

Additional Information:

• Texas MRT license (Required)

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support
• CPR Cert (BLS) Required
• Registered Technologist
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)ARRT)) Required OR Registered MRI Technologist (ARMRIT) Required

$29.60 - $55.05
