Job Description:

  • $5,000 Sign On Bonus for Eligible Candidates

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • This position supports a busy vascular surgery practice and is split between two office locations. Monday through Thursday at our Tampa office located at 3000 Medical Park Drive, and Fridays at our Wesley Chapel office located at 26823 Tanic Drive.

  • The role is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the vascular surgery practice, collaborating closely with providers, clinical staff, and patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience and efficient practice workflow. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty environment and traveling between designated office locations as part of their regular schedule.

  • Attends department meetings and engages in positive dialogue to support department objectives.

  • Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient's medical situation.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams.

  • Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Abdomen, Abdominal Doppler, OB/Gyn, Small Parts, Vascular, and Interventional Sonographic procedures Required
  • Ability to learn and master new tasks related to the computer and AGFA Pacs system Required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds Required
  • Ability to function independently with little or no supervision Required
  • Ability to read and write legibly in English and perform basic mathematics skills Required
  • Ability to communicate effectively Required
  • Ability to perform venous ultrasound Doppler Required
  • Ability for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative Required
  • Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment Preferred

Education:

  • Associate Preferred

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in vascular sonography Preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Required OR
  • Registered Technologist
  • Vascular Sonography (R.T.(VS)(ARRT)) Required OR
  • Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) Required
  • Basic Life Support
  • CPR Cert (BLS) Required

Pay Range:

$28.68 - $53.35
