Job Description:

• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
• Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's, High School Grad or Equiv (Required)American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Basic Life Support
• CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.-CERT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Medical Radiation Technology
• IEMA (MRT-IEMA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Radiologic Technologist
• License (RT-LIC) - Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Technologist
• Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:

$29.04 - $54.02
