About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Manager to manage local financial accounting and statutory compliance for our Polish entity. The role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with Polish GAAP and IFRS, acting as the main liaison for audits, tax authorities, and benefit schemes, while supporting group-wide reporting and consolidation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain local books in accordance with Polish GAAP and IFRS requirements.

• Act as the central point of contact for group audits and drive all local audit activities.

• Monitor changes in Polish tax law and accounting regulations and ensure continuous compliance.

• Serve as the main contact for Polish pension (PPK) and jubilee benefit schemes.

• Prepare and file local statutory financial statements and tax reports (CIT and VAT) with the support of third-party advisors.

• Support the group consolidation team during year-end and period-end close processes.

• Ensure strong internal controls and accurate financial documentation at the local level.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are strongly preferred.

• Solid knowledge of Polish GAAP, IFRS, and Polish tax regulations (CIT/VAT).

• Experience working with external auditors and tax advisors.

• 7–10 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international or group environment.

Preferred Skills

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with local and international stakeholders.

• Fluent in English; Polish fluency required.
