We are currently looking for a highly motivated apprentice IT Systems Electronics Technician (M/F/D) to join our Vocational Training team.

These days, nothing works without IT specialists. For us, IT is far more than operating systems, server administration or repairing a computer.

During the practical training at Adtran in Meiningen as well as during the theoretical training in Erfurt you will gain extensive knowledge and skills in the field of planning, installation and configuration of IT systems and IT devices.

The three-year training course will be completed with an examination at the Chamber.

The main focus of the apprenticeship

• Electrical installation and assembly techniques

• Getting to know, configuration and usage of various system technologies (WDM, Ethernet, IP switching & routing, server-client applications, operating systems, user software)

• Planning & production of, as well as modifications to IT equipment, IT systems and IT infrastructures

• Service and repair measures

• Execution of error analyses for hardware and software

• Troubleshooting and maintenance work on a variety of IT devices and systems

• Programming and scripting languages

• Project management under technical and commercial aspects

Knowledge, skills and experience required

• Good secondary school certificate or A level

• Good grades in Mathematics, Physics and English

• Good technical skills

• Enjoy working in a team as well as solving problems independently

• Willingness to travel

Wir suchen zurzeit einen hoch motivierten Auszubildenden für die Ausbildung zum IT-Systemelektroniker (M/W/D).

Ohne IT-Spezialisten geht heutzutage nichts mehr, das ist kein Geheimnis. Bei Adtran verstehen wir unter IT weit mehr als Betriebssysteme, Server-Administration oder die Reparatur eines Computers.

In der praktischen Ausbildung bei uns in Meiningen sowie während der theoretischen Ausbildung in Erfurt werden umfangreiche Kenntnisse und Fertigkeiten über die Planung, Installation und Konfiguration von IT-Systemen und IT-Geräten vermittelt.

Abgeschlossen wird die 3-jährige Ausbildung mit einer Prüfung vor der Industrie- und Handelskammer.

Schwerpunkte und Einsatzfelder während der Ausbildung

• Elektroinstallations- und Montagetechniken

• Kennenlernen, Konfiguration und Benutzung vieler Systemtechniken (WDM, Ethernet, IP-Switching & Routing, Server-Client Applikationen, Betriebssysteme, Benutzersoftware)

• Planung & Herstellung von, sowie Änderungen an IT-Geräten, IT-Systemen und IT-Infrastrukture

• Service- und Instandsetzungsmaßnahmen

• Durchführung von Fehleranalysen bei Hard- und Software

• Störungsbeseitigungen und Wartungsarbeiten an unterschiedlichen IT-Geräten und -Systemen

• Programmier- und Skriptsprachen

• Projektabwicklung unter technischen und kaufmännischen Aspekten

Anforderungen

• Guter Realschulabschluss oder Abitur

• Gute Noten in Mathematik, Physik und Englisch

• Handwerklich-technisches Geschick

• Spaß an der Arbeit im Team, aber auch an selbstständigem Problemlösen

• Lust auf Reisen und Auswärtstätigkeiten
