The Opportunity:

We're seeking a Software Development Engineer with extensive Automation framework and frontend experience to join the Adobe Campaign team. You'll develop, build, and deliver on Automation frameworks with a goal to automate end to end Campaign quality with a team and also work on building high-quality web applications, libraries, and SDKs for Adobe Campaign. This role offers the chance to work on produc t quality and development used by enterprises, collaborate with skilled engineers, and lead important projects from idea to completion.

What You'll Do:

• Build new functionalities /services for Adobe Campaign Automation framework.

• Lead a team of automation engineers to build on Campaign Automation and Quality, extensively using AI tools and frameworks.

• Develop exceptional web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript, providing intuitive and responsive user interfaces

• Build and develop micro frontend architectures that enable independent, scalable, and maintainable frontend modules across teams

• Collaborate with architects, product management, and other engineering teams to build the technical vision, and road map for the automation team.

• Own projects end-to-end—from technical build and implementation to testing, deployment, and production support

• Build technical specifications, prototypes, and presentations to communicate your ideas.

• Able to understand software internals, debug code, automate repetitive tasks, and implement new tools and frameworks needed to streamline our quality process.

• Understand customer usage models and is able to develop test plans and test cases that approximate real-world environments and scenarios.

What You Bring:

·10 years of hands-on experience in AI tools, Java, Automation Framework, designing and development.

• Bachelors/master’s in computer science or a related field.

• Specialist in Java, Web Services, XML, SOAP/REST APIs, data structures, working knowledge and experience of React and contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+), accompanied by a strong grasp of component-based architecture

• Experience in Databases like MySQL, SnowFlake, Postgres will be added advantage

• Experience building reusable component libraries, SDKs, or shared frontend infrastructure used across multiple teams or products

• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, using technologies such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins etc.

• Excellent software design skills and problem-solving skills.

• Perform manual testing, the scope of which will encompass all functionalities of services as a prequel to automation.

• Able to communicate technical details clearly and work closely and seamlessly with various engineering teams, product management, experience design, and quality engineering to ensure we deliver phenomenal compelling solutions.

• Be a mentor and role model for junior engineers.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil)
• Familiarity with building systems (Spectrum, Storybook, or similar)
• Exposure to backend technologies (Node.js, GraphQL, REST APIs)
• Experience working on developer-facing tools, SDKs, or platform products
• Contributions to open source projects
