Role Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead DevOps Specialist with a strong security attitude to develop, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable cloud and hybrid infrastructure. This role demands deep Kubernetes expertise, mature CI/CD practices, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, security, and platform teams.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical depth,automation-first thinking, and excellent communication skills to influence architecture and delivery at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate cloud and hybrid infrastructure with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and security.
• Architect, manage, and optimize Kubernetes platforms (cluster lifecycle, networking, security, observability).
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git Ops principles.
• Implement Git Ops workflows using tools like Argo CD for declarative deployments.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent, auditable infrastructure provisioning.
• Automate configuration management and orchestration using Salt Stack and scripting.
• Partner closely with Security teams to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines (Dev Sec Ops).
• Enforce guidelines for secrets management, access control, image signing, and supply-chain security.
• Solve complex system issues across environments and lead root cause analysis.
• Communicate effectively with interested parties across engineering, product, and security teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills

• 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering.
• Strong experience with Cloud platforms(AWS / Azure / GCP) and Hybrid architectures.
• Expert-level Kubernetes knowledge (must-have).
• Proven experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline design, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Git Ops tools such as Argo CD.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language — Java preferred.
• Solid experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Salt Stack or similar configuration management tools.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (Shell, Python, etc.).

Security & Dev Sec Ops

• Strong security-first attitude across infrastructure and pipelines.
• Experience implementing security controls in CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with container security, image scanning, secrets management, and access policies.
• Understanding of compliance, auditability, and secure SDLC practices is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills — written and verbal.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical participants.
• Strong ownership attitude and ability to work independently.
• Proven collaboration skills across multi-functional teams.
