Job Description:

We are a leading biopharmaceutical company seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to automate and secure our cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You'll partner with cross-functional SMEs to design, build, and deploy scalable solutions in Azure, leveraging GitHub for CI/CD. This role offers hands-on ownership of production deployments, collaboration in an agile environment, and the opportunity to contribute to innovative, compliant systems that drive global health advancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates in Azure, with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and automated production deployments.

• Collaborate with security and infrastructure SMEs to integrate tools like Microsoft Sentinel, ADX, and Cribl into IaC workflows, ensuring seamless telemetry and analytics.

• Automate integrations across Azure services (e.g., Logic Apps, Event Hubs, Functions, Key Vault) to build resilient, scalable systems.

• Develop and deploy automated pipelines for data ingestion, monitoring, and compliance, partnering with teams to meet enterprise standards.

• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and cost optimization, iterating based on SME input to refine and deploy updates to production.

• Implement observability and monitoring practices (e.g., using Azure Monitor or Prometheus) to ensure system reliability and quick issue resolution.

• Mentor junior engineers and advise on IaC best practices, fostering a collaborative DevOps culture.

• Work in agile teams with incident response, threat hunting, and cloud engineering groups to translate requirements into deployable solutions.

• Ensure all deployments adhere to regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) in a biopharma context.

Required Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in IT, cloud engineering, or DevOps, with 3–5 years focused on IaC and Azure.

• Expertise in Terraform/Bicep, GitHub Actions, and automating production deployments in Azure.

• Proven ability to partner with SMEs for integrating security tools (e.g., Sentinel, ADX, Cribl) and building data pipelines.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, containerization (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud security practices.

• Experience in agile methodologies and delivering scalable, compliant solutions in regulated environments.

Preferred Qualifications.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse stakeholders.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Terraform Associate).
