Summary:

The primary purpose of the Data Engineer is to design, construct, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that support the company's logistics operations. The role ensures the efficient processing and storage of large volumes of data, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. It involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse data sources and optimize data workflows. The Data Engineer is responsible for implementing best practices in data management and ensuring data quality and integrity. The role contributes to the digital transformation initiatives by leveraging modern technologies and tools to enhance data accessibility and
usability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data pipelines and architectures to support large-scale data processing
  and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse data sources and optimize data workflows
  for improved efficiency.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices in data management and governance.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives by leveraging modern technologies to enhance data accessibility and usability.
• Other one-time tasks assigned by manager.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with data
  engineering tools like Apache Spark or Hadoop is essential.
• Strong understanding of database systems, data modeling, and ETL processes is necessary.
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams is
  preferred.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
