Summary:

The Delivery Lead – Quality Engineer plays a dual role in overseeing quality assurance activities and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of software products. This role is responsible for managing QA teams, defining test strategies, coordinating delivery timelines, and acting as the main liaison between engineering, QA, product, and business stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Delivery Management:

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end delivery of quality assurance initiatives across multiple teams/projects.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to align delivery schedules with testing plans.
• Track and report on QA project health, milestones, risks, and metrics to senior stakeholders.

Quality Assurance Leadership:

• Define and implement quality engineering strategies, standards, and best practices (manual & automation).
• Oversee test planning, execution, defect tracking, and sign-off processes.
• Drive adoption of automated testing across CI/CD pipelines to improve test efficiency and coverage.

People & Team Management:

• Mentor, coach, and lead a team of quality engineers, including performance evaluations and career development.
• Allocate QA resources effectively across projects based on skills, availability, and priority.

Continuous Improvement:

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives, process reviews, and automation.
• Identify areas for optimization in QA processes, tools, and frameworks.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Serve as the key point of contact for all QA-related communication with business and technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality meets business expectations.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Bachelor s/master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, with 3–5 years in a lead or delivery-focused role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Experience in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium), API testing (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured), and performance testing (e.g., JMeter).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps), and test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, Test Rail).
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Advanced Embedded System Engineering.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• Bachelor s/master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
