Key Responsibilities

As a Workday Delivery Lead, you should expect to lead large, complex Workday implementations and have the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivery teams across a portfolio of clients and ensure our contractual and client expectations are met.

  • Lead teams of consultants and clients to reach their implementation and transformation goals on time and within budget

  • Work from start to finish on transformation programs with experience along all stages of program lifecycle.

  • Lead and develop Workday consultants and guide them through career growth.

  • Understand client requirements and support development of implementation plans to deliver successful outcomes.

  • Use expertise to develop and support cost effective blueprints, estimates, and conceptual designs.

  • Be recognized internally and externally for their deep Workday delivery expertise, domain knowledge, or offering expertise.

  • Align technology with business strategy and goals, work directly with the client gathering requirements to analyse, design and/or implement technology best practice business changes.

  • Advise clients in their Workday technology decisions and strategies

  • Create, implement and manage a program office function in support of the execution of delivery or product work.

  • Develop and execute end-to-end project management activities.

  • Manage financial, contractual, and operational commitments.

  • Monitor delivery performance and quality using metrics and status reporting.

  • Mitigate program/project risks and drive resolution of issues.

Your skills and Qualifications:

  • Current knowledge of the Workday Platform (HCM and or Financials)

  • Proven Workday Delivery experience with at least 1-2 major Workday Implementations

  • Previous consulting experience or congruent professional experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company

  • Ability and willingness to travel

  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience with pre-sale and sales activities
