Analyze and design new business processes to create the documentation that guides the implementation of new processes and technologies. Partner with the business to define product requirements and use cases to meet process and functional requirements. Participate in user and task analysis to represent business needs.

Summary: Lead a functional pod (e.g., GGRE, Wells, Ops & Production) delivering L2/L3 support and minor enhancements; act as the technical/functional escalation point and sprint lead for fixes/automations. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. L2/L3 Delivery: Triage/resolve incidents, SRs, and problems for a defined app set (Petrel plug-ins, Open Works data flows, Well View jobs, PI interfaces, SCADA gateways). 2. Runbooks & SRE: Maintain operational runbooks, observability dashboards, and error budgets; drive post-incident RCA and preventive actions. 3. Minor Enhancements: Groom sprint backlogs, estimate and deliver fixes/config changes; coordinate testing/UAT and release packaging. Vendor & Region Interface: Work with ISVs (SLB, AVEVA, Landmark) via OLAs and with regional leads to schedule upgrades, hotfixes, and site windows. 4. Data Quality & Standards: Enforce PI tag naming, Petrel project standards, Open Works data QC; publish DQ scorecards. Automation Use Cases: Implement guided resolution (L1.5), job/self-healing scripts, and deployment automation for connectors/plug-ins. Professional & Technical Skills: 1. 7–10 years in app maintenance with domain depth in one of: Wells (Well View, drilling optimization workflows), or GGRE (Petrel/Open Works/Eclipse) Ops/Production (PI/SCADA). 2. Proficiency with ITSM (incident/problem/change), job schedulers, and source control/CI for release packaging. 3. Experience building monitoring/alerting and conducting RCAs with AIOps inputs. 4. Good to have Scripting for ops (PowerShell/Python), PI AF/SDK basics, SLB Ocean familiarity; exposure to Azure/AWS for app hosting, include experience in Database,SQL, Power automate, certifications for PL-900, PL-500, AZ-900, DP-900,DP-700, AWS: CLF-C02, SAA-C03 Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas Upstream.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
