Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. You will engage in understanding complex requirements, translating them into functional solutions, and ensuring that the applications align with organizational goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders to refine application features and continuous enhancement of software components to support evolving business demands will be integral to your role. Your work will contribute to creating efficient, scalable, and reliable software systems that support critical business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
• Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies to improve application performance and user experience.
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
• Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM modules and their configuration.
• Experience in designing and implementing business process frameworks within Workday.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues effectively.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and tools related to Workday Core HCM.
• Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive software solutions.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
