This role offers a rare opportunity to be part of building a Pega team from scratch. You will play a key role in shaping how we work, how we deliver, and how we grow, both technically and as a team. We are now looking for a **Pega Technical Architect (**Senior System Architect) with strong Financial Services domain experience. In this role, you will design and deliver high-quality Pega solutions while acting as a founding technical leader, helping establish standards, mentor team members, and grow our Pega capability.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead in building and delivering Pega solutions
• Lead the technical design and architecture of Pega applications aligned with business goals
• Serve as Senior System Architect (SSA) on Pega implementations and transformations
• Design and deliver Pega solutions for Financial Services use cases such as lending, KYC/AML, payments, onboarding, and regulatory compliance
• Establish and evolve development standards, best practices, and ways of working
• Ensure adherence to Pega guardrails, architectural principles, and quality standards
• Own overall solution design including integrations, data models, performance, and security
• Mentor and coach Pega developers and junior architects
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and solution architects

Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Typically, 6+ years of experience working with Pega in complex, enterprise-scale implementations
• Strong hands-on experience as a Pega Senior System Architect (SSA)
• Pega SSA certification is strongly preferred (LSA is a plus)
• Solid understanding of Pega architecture, case management, integrations, and deployment models
• Required experience delivering Pega solutions in the Financial Services domain
• Domain experience in one or more of the following: lending, KYC/AML, payments, customer onboarding, or regulatory/compliance processes
• Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP, messaging, databases) and performance optimization
• Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps practices is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• IMPORTANT: We can only consider candidates who are EU citizens or already resident in Sweden.
