Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and resolving problems to ensure seamless system performance. The position demands continuous vigilance and collaboration with different teams to maintain the stability and reliability of critical applications, supporting business operations effectively throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to stakeholders and team members.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Service Integration and Management (SIAM).
  • Strong understanding of service management frameworks and best practices related to multi-vendor environments.
  • Experience in incident, problem, and change management within complex IT landscapes.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues across integrated service components effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and vendors.
  • Capability to work with monitoring tools and dashboards to proactively identify potential service disruptions.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Service Integration and Management (SIAM).
  • This position is based at our Gurugram office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
