Summary:

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with organizational goals is also a key part of the daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud architecture, security, and performance optimization.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Docker (Software).
• Experience with container orchestration and management tools related to Docker.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure deployment and automation.
• Ability to design scalable and secure cloud platform solutions.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines involving containerized applications.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security protocols within cloud environments.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Docker (Software).
• This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
