Summary:

As an Engineering Services Lead, a typical day involves guiding and coordinating a diverse team of engineers to develop innovative technical solutions that address complex challenges and support business goals. This role requires overseeing project progress to ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and cost efficiency. The position demands collaboration across various engineering disciplines such as manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, structural, and stress design. Additionally, the role includes organizing and allocating resources effectively to meet the demands of engineering and construction projects, fostering a productive and solution-oriented work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA Functional Expertise
The primary requirement is deep hands-on experience with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform (specifically version 2020x or higher). This isn't just about general design it requires a functional understanding of how CATIA operates within the PLM ecosystem to support end-to-end software system configurations.

2. End-to-End Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
The role demands a mastery of the Software Testing Lifecycle. This includes the ability to design comprehensive test plans, author and record complex test cases, and prepare specialized test data specifically within the CATIA environment. You must be able to validate results and own the process from unit testing through to full integration.

Methodology & Architecture Awareness:

A candidate must demonstrate a solid grasp of fundamental testing architectures, specifically White Box (internal logic/code-based) and Black Box (functional/interface-based) testing. This is paired with the requirement to operate within Agile frameworks, meaning experience with sprints, backlogs, and iterative deployment is essential.

Configuration and Variant Management:

Beyond standard design, this JD emphasizes the technical ability to manage Product Configurations and Variants. In industries like aerospace or automotive, this involves handling complex product structures where different versions of a product must be tested and validated across multiple configurations within the 3DEXPERIENCE database.

Test Automation and Scripting:

A key technical pillar of this role is the transition from manual testing to Automation. The JD explicitly looks for knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools to streamline the validation of software systems, ensuring that repetitive functional tests in CATIA can be executed efficiently without manual intervention.

Professional & Technical Skills:

1. Experience on 3DExperience CATIA 2020x or above in functional testing.
2. Experience of testing concepts, STLC and methodologies.
3. Experience on Configuration and variant management
4. 3DExperience CATIA Functional Knowledge
5. Knowledge of Test Automation and scripting language.
6. Agile way of project working experience.
7. Experience in 3DExperience CATIA.
8. Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

9. Awareness of testing concepts - white box and black box.
10.Knowledgeable in Testing and Deployment concepts.
11.Creating & recording of test cases and preparation of test data in 3DExperience Catia
12. Review the test plans, test cases and validate the test results
13. Ability to completely own and support unit and integration testing.
