Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary:

As a Scrum Master, your day revolves around fostering a collaborative and efficient environment for the software development team. You enable smooth workflows by guiding the team through Agile practices and ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are promptly addressed. Your role involves continuous engagement with team members to maintain focus on project goals, facilitating communication, and tracking progress through relevant metrics. By supporting the team s dynamics and promoting transparency, you help drive the successful delivery of software solutions while nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team s progress to maintain a steady workflow.
• Monitor and report on team performance and project progress using appropriate metrics to stakeholders.
• Support the team in adopting Agile principles and practices to enhance productivity and quality.
• Assist junior team members in understanding Agile processes and encourage their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Service Now IT Service Management.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in facilitating team collaboration and conflict resolution.
• Ability to track and analyze project metrics to support decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams.
• Capability to coach and mentor teams for continuous improvement.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Service Now IT Service Management.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
