Roles & Responsibilities:
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced OIC Specialist to design, develop, and maintain complex integration solutions connecting People Soft ERP/SCM and Oracle Cloud HCM with Oracle Utilities (WACS/OFS/CCS) and other third-party applications. This role requires deep expertise in OIC orchestration, data mapping, and fault handling to ensure seamless, real-time, and batch data flow across hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities:
OIC Development: Design, develop, and test complex integrations using OIC (REST/SOAP/File Adapters) to sync data between People Soft and Oracle Cloud Applications.
Cloud Application Integration: Create and maintain integrations for Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS), Oracle Field Service (OFS), and Customer Cloud Service (CCS).
Data Transformation: Utilize XSLT, XPath, and JSON/XML mapping to transform data between legacy People Soft structures and modern Oracle SaaS data models.
File Handling & Security: Implement secure file transfers (FTP/SFTP), encryption/decryption, and large file manipulation (Stage File).
OIC Administration: Configure Lookups, Certificates, and Key Management within OIC.
Performance Optimization: Monitor, debug, and performance-tune integrations to ensure system stability.
Collaboration: Work with Functional Consultants to map requirements and document Technical Design Documents (TDD).
Required Experience:
3–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) / ICS.
Develop and maintain integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), HCM Extracts, BIP, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
Proven experience integrating People Soft ERP/SCM with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM/SCM.
Exposure in using HCM Data extracts in Oracle Integration Cloud to export data from Oracle HCM Cloud.
Experience with Oracle Utilities applications (WACS, OFS, CCS) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation.
Proficiency in Web Services: REST, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, XSLT, JSON.
Ability to configure secure connectivity (OAuth, certificates, SSH, PGP keys).
Experience building and managing file-based integrations (SFTP/FTP, CSV/XML, FBDI/BIP/UCM).
Skilled in managing deployment and release processes across environments (DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD).
Experience designing asynchronous, synchronous, and scheduled integrations.
