Role Summary:

The SAP Asset Management Consultant will be responsible for driving the design, build, test, and deployment of SAP PM / EAM solutions across end-to-end maintenance and asset lifecycle processes. The role requires strong functional expertise, client-facing capability, and experience working in global delivery models.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive requirement analysis, solution design, and configuration for SAP Asset Management (SAP PM / EAM) in ECC and/or S/4HANA landscapes.
Own end-to-end maintenance processes, including Asset Master Data, Maintenance Notifications, Work Orders, Planning, Scheduling, Execution, and Technical Closure.
Configure and support Master Data objects: Functional Locations, Equipment, Task Lists, BOMs, Maintenance Plans, and Maintenance Strategies.
Perform SPRO configuration for Notification types, Order types, Planner Groups, Planning Plants, and Organizational structures.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to enable integration with SAP MM, FI-AA, CO, and Procurement.
Support system build, unit testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and cutover/go-live activities.
Provide L3 / Hypercare / AMS support and drive continuous improvement of Asset Management processes post go-live.
Participate in client workshops, solution walkthroughs, and design reviews articulate solutions aligned to client business outcomes.
Contribute to estimation, solutioning, and proposal inputs for SAP Asset Management–related pursuits where required.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in SAP PM / SAP EAM.
Experience working on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, or AMS engagements.
Solid understanding of maintenance business processes in asset-intensive industries (Manufacturing, Utilities, Energy, Resources, etc.).
Experience with corrective, preventive, breakdown, calibration, and refurbishment maintenance processes.
Strong client communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently in a global delivery / onsite-offshore model.

Good to Have:

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Asset Management innovations (simplified data model, embedded analytics).
Experience or awareness of SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) or Intelligent Asset Management concepts.
SAP PM / EAM certification.
Experience in ECC to S/4HANA conversion or brownfield transformation programs.

Career Level / Experience:

8-10 years of relevant SAP Asset Management experience (L9 aligned)
