AS A WORKDAY PROJECTS FUNCTIONAL LEAD

You’ll be part of a team of advisory professionals delivering more than just technology. From pilot initiatives to scalable global solutions, you will help organizations unlock the full value of Workday Projects to enable transparent, skills-based resource allocation across delivery units and competence centers.

The role is centered on a Workday-based Resource Allocation initiative, leveraging Workday Projects and Workday Extend to address functional gaps and align with complex operating models, with integrations to Core HCM, Talent & Performance, Career Hub, and other deployed Workday modules.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HELP OUR CLIENTS BY

  • Leading the design, configuration, and pilot delivery of Workday Projects solutions

  • Creating and maintaining project structures, hierarchies, and project plans within Workday

  • Assigning and managing project resources, demand, and associated budgets

  • Preparing, analyzing, and presenting project analytics, dashboards, and reports

  • Facilitating design workshops, prototype reviews, and solution walkthroughs with clients

  • Designing and building Workday Projects configurations, validating design decisions and conversion data

  • Reviewing and enhancing test scenarios and scripts to ensure robust functional coverage

  • Resolving test defects and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Documenting global functional requirements and configuration workbooks

  • Leading demos, train-the-trainer sessions, and knowledge transfer to support organizations

WE ARE LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING SKILLS

  • Hands-on experience designing and configuring Workday Projects

  • Strong understanding of adjacent Workday HCM domains, including Core HCM, Talent, Skills, Absence, and their relevance to Resource Allocation

  • Workday certification in Project Services or Project Administrator

  • End-to-end Workday implementation and/or AMS delivery experience

  • Proven client-facing delivery and stakeholder management experience

Extensive relevant Workday experience

  • Fluency in English (Norwegian is a plus, not required)

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to work independently, lead workstreams, and collaborate in global, multi-disciplinary teams

SET YOURSELF APART

  • Additional Workday certifications, including C2C

  • Experience in the Resources or Energy industry

  • Background with a Tier 1 System Integrator

  • Exposure to Workday Extend and custom application design

  • Experience delivering pilot programs with scalability to global rollouts
