We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager for delivering IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget. In this role, you will have a strong ownership in ensuring project efficiency by engaging in stakeholder communication, preparing and maintain project plans, identifying and mitigating risks, planning tasks and managing schedules, maintaining documentation, and facilitating communication across teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, QA testers, and business stakeholders to help drive project success in a fast-paced tech environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering schedule, resources, dependencies, risks, and budget
  • Lead execution across all project phases including initiation, planning, delivery, UAT, deployment, and closure
  • Track project progress using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Confluence) and ensure timely delivery
  • Own project tracking - timelines, effort, budget, and burn rates
  • Identify variances early and implement corrective actions to minimize delivery risk
  • Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards through defined acceptance criteria and governance checks
  • Support forecasting, invoicing, and financial reporting as required
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
  • Provide regular status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to leadership and clients
  • Proactively manage expectations, escalations, and decision‑making forums
  • Facilitate effective communication across distributed and cross‑functional teams
  • Identify, document, and monitor project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID)
  • Define and track mitigation and contingency plans
  • Manage scope changes through a controlled change management process, assessing impact on cost, schedule, and quality
  • Ensure all changes are formally reviewed, approved, and communicated
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and priorities
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (where applicable) such as sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups
  • Drive accountability within the team to meet commitments
  • Ensure adherence to organizational delivery standards, processes, and compliance requirements
  • Capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for improving delivery effectiveness
  • Contribute to PMO or practice‑level initiatives such as process improvements, templates, and best practices
  • Support mentoring or guidance of junior project coordinators or Scrum Masters where required

Professional and Technical Skills

  • Hands‑on experience managing IT or digital projects
  • Proven experience delivering projects in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, system integration, and enterprise IT environments
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and cross‑functional teams
  • Ability to put creative and analytical thinking abilities into practice.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills with written language skills.
  • Exposure in working with global clients is an added advantage.
