Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of tailored software projects. Required significant experience as a Business Analyst within an investment banking or financial services environment, with a strong understanding of how complex business processes are supported by technology and delivered through large scale change programmes. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet established standards. The position demands active involvement in coordinating efforts to deliver solutions that are scalable, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. Collaboration across various groups is essential to maintain consistency and drive the project towards successful completion while fostering an environment of innovation and quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to align technical efforts with business priorities.
• Ability to engage confidently and credibly with senior business and technology stakeholders, influencing decisions and constructively challenging assumptions.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Business Requirements Analysis.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Experience in designing scalable software architectures that support evolving business demands with Proven experience leading analysis on complex technology or transformation initiatives involving multiple systems, workstreams, and senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments at scale with Experience working with documentation tools, code repositories, issue tracking tools, and collaboration platforms.
• A strong understanding of transaction or trading lifecycles and their downstream operational, risk, finance, and reporting impacts.
• Ability to lead and facilitate technical discussions and decision-making processes.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities to address complex technical challenges with Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problem spaces and drive clear, evidence based outcomes.
• Practical working knowledge of Digital Assets or Distributed Ledger Technology from a business and process perspective, sufficient to assess feasibility, operating model impact, and delivery risk (deep technical expertise not required).
• Strong capability to translate business objectives and regulatory or control requirements into clear, usable inputs for technology delivery teams.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Business Requirements Analysis.
• This position is based at our Gurugram office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
