How you will make an impact

• Lead integration of virtual environments based on SIL-KIT or equivalent technology to create virtual system-of-system
• Lead the setup, maintenance and integration of QEMU/KVM-based virtual machines for the hypervisor, Android (AAOS Cuttlefish/trout), and Linux guest OS layers
• Package and deliver the virtual environments as dev-containers where possible for easy accessibility
• Work closely with software domain teams (AAOS, Linux BSP, hypervisor, MCU firmware) to identify HAL stub interfaces and production software porting requirements per virtualization level
• Own integration of virtual platforms into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent), including test automation, parallelization strategy, and result reporting

What you need to succeed:

Must have:

• 10+ years' experience with virtualization and embedded systems, preferably in Automotive industry
• Understanding of hypervisor concepts: VM lifecycle, inter-VM IPC, GIC interrupt routing, MMU/SMMU, hypercall ABI
• Experience with QNX Hypervisor or equivalent
• Familiarity with Android Automotive OS virtualization (AAOS Cuttlefish, trout reference platform, VHAL simulation, virtio HAL shims)
• Hands-on experience with QEMU/KVM for ARM-based system emulation (machine type configuration, device plugins, GDB remote debugging, virtio device setup)
• Experience with FreeRTOS or comparable RTOS: task scheduling, interrupt handling, peripheral drivers (SPI, I2C, CAN, ADC, UART, DMA)
• Practical experience with BSP and HAL development — ability to define clean stub interfaces at L3 boundaries
• Proficiency in Linux (kernel configuration, systemd, device tree, virtual filesystems)
• Experience building and integrating CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI / Jenkins / GitHub Actions) with embedded/virtual targets

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with SystemC / TLM-2.0 peripheral modeling
• Familiarity with virtual platform tools like dSPACE VEOS, Synopsis Silver or equivalent environments
• Knowledge of FMI 3.0 co-simulation for heterogeneous platform integration
• Experience with CAN / SOME-IP / LIN virtual bus simulation and network management
