Role Overview:

As an SAP BI/BW Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Business Intelligence solutions to enhance data-driven decision-making and business insights. Your role includes developing and configuring BI/BW processes, managing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), and maintaining SAP BW back-end functionality. You will support projects utilizing BW on HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and optionally SAP Datasphere, to deliver comprehensive analytics solutions for our clients.
You will participate in international projects, working on end-to-end SAP BI/BW implementations, from requirement gathering to solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. You will also provide expertise in release management, service management, and monitoring of BW services to ensure system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in SAP BI/BW and S/4 HANA implementation projects (business requirements gathering, system configuration, test documentation, execution, and post go-live support)
• Lead the deployment of SAP BW and BI solutions, with a focus on BW on HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Datasphere where applicable
• Analyze business needs and propose technical solutions within BI/BW, considering integration requirements and potential impacts on other SAP modules or third-party applications
• Prepare project documentation including functional and technical specifications
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and key partners to achieve successful project outcomes
• Mentor junior consultants and deliver training sessions in BI/BW functional areas
• Keep up-to-date with the latest SAP BI and data warehousing technologies

Technology & Required Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field is preferred
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in SAP BI/BW, with hands-on experience in BW on HANA
• Solid knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud and/or SAP Datasphere is advantageous
• Proficiency in ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling within SAP BW
• Experience in full lifecycle implementations and rollouts, particularly on large international projects
• Familiarity with integration between SAP modules and third-party applications
• Awareness of the latest SAP technologies and industry trends
• Fluent written and spoken English
