    What would you do? Operational:
  1. Build the necessary tools/models to support demand forecasting for monthly demand planning, annual demand planning and ad-hoc requests.

  2. Provide accurate and timely volume performance analysis to facilitate demand forecasting.

  3. Ensure accurate and timely reporting as per the Regional guidelines.

  4. Manage forecasting process and improve forecasting accuracy.

  5. Coordinate local forecasting process, co build short and mid-term demand plan with Sales & Marketing team

  6. Propose demand plan based on statistical analysis (considering market trends, customers vision, expected exceptional, guidelines issued from previous S&OP cycles)

  7. Co-operate with the Product and Marketing teams to understand the product availability and coming Marketing activities

  8. Consolidate the product-level forecasts from the sales teams

  9. Provide visibility on product performance and reveal a trend towards lower or higher margin products for management team for fact-based decision making

  10. Maintain demand plan to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer needs

  11. Work with sales teams and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy

  1. Develop own managerial skills as identified and agreed in personal development plan.

  2. Develop and coach the Team Leaders technical and managerial skills, supporting their career development.

  3. Work with Marketing Functions to develop, train and coach the executive and managers, ensuring that there is a clear succession plan in place.

  4. Exhibit leadership capabilities in engagement with key stakeholders through behaviours and attitudes which are in line with the guiding principles.
    Management Results:

  5. Monitor resource utilisation and ensure that resource allocation is being managed effectively enabling the team to meet agreed Service Level Agreements.

  6. Set clear annual performance objectives for direct reports and carry out performance reviews against the objectives as per the agreed schedule, ensuring that the team have clear direction

  10. Good commercial awareness and strong understanding of domain along with CLIENT strategy and
    business model

  11. Excellent management, coaching and motivational skills are essential due to the number of staff
    within the departments.

  12. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior and other levels of staff in all departments and companies both within the Group and externally.

  13. 4+ years of work experience in domain, senior stakeholder management and project management in a large scale organisation.

  14. Good understanding of End To End Supply Chain Management

  15. Good understanding of SC Planning tools: JDA (advanced) and SAP / SAP APO

  16. Highly disciplined in data and documentation management & Excel

Relationship Results:

  1. Develop good working relationships with peers within Marketing functions and EM in order to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  2. Build and maintain good working relationships within department and intra-department to support implementation and smooth execution of demand forecasting within the S&OP process.
    Innovation Results:
  3. Identify and propose improvement opportunities in current process to enhance the effectiveness of the demand planning process within the organisation.
  4. Continuously strive to improve current tools and methodologies to improve forecasting accuracy

  1. The most important metrics by which successful performance will be judged are:
  • Timely delivery of monthly demand forecasting file and tracking tools.
  • Timely delivery and updating of sales report and other tracking reports.
  • Improved company forecast accuracy, leveraging on the accountable forecasting processes.

  • The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor
  • May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture
  • Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside
  • Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
  • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
