Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Power BI Platform Administrator:
Role Summary:
The Power BI Platform Administrator is responsible for the end to end administration, configuration, stability, and operational integrity of the Power BI (and Fabric) platform. The role ensures the platform is secure, performant, governed, and scalable to support enterprise analytics and self service BI use cases.
This role operates at a tenant and platform level, not as a report developer, and works closely with IT, Security, Data, and BI CoE teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Administration & Configuration:
Administer the Power BI tenant, including tenant settings, feature toggles, and governance controls learn.microsoft.com
Manage workspaces, roles, access models, and security configurations
Configure and maintain on premises data gateways and data source connectivity
Administer Power BI licensing, capacity assignments, and usage policies geeksforgeeks.org
Capacity, Performance & Availability
Monitor and manage Power BI Premium / Fabric capacities
Track platform health, performance, and usage metrics
Proactively identify and resolve capacity, refresh, and performance issues
Support scaling strategies for growing analytical workloads
Security, Compliance & Governance
Enforce data security, compliance, and tenant level governance policies
Support auditing, logging, and access reviews
Partner with Security and IAM teams on identity, access, and compliance requirements
Ensure alignment with organizational data governance standards
Operations & Maintenance:
Perform routine platform maintenance, monitoring, and incident management
Troubleshoot platform level issues related to refresh, access, gateways, and capacity
Manage upgrades, feature rollouts, and platform changes
Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation
Stakeholder & CoE Collaboration:
Act as the platform SME for Power BI within the organization
Support BI developers and analytics teams with platform best practices
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Cloud, and IT Ops teams
Contribute to Power BI / Fabric platform roadmap discussions
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills:
Strong experience administering Power BI Service in an enterprise environment expertia.ai
Hands on knowledge of:
o Power BI tenant settings and admin portal
Power BI Premium / Fabric capacity management
Data gateways and data source connectivity
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) integration
Working knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, and security concepts
Familiarity with monitoring, ticketing, and incident management processes
Experience:
Experience in BI platform administration or analytics platform operations
Exposure to large scale BI environments with multiple business units
Experience working with Center of Excellence (CoE) or shared platform models is a plus
