Introduction

We are looking for a visionary AI Lead with a strong background in AI architecture and consulting to join our Software & Platform Engineering (S&PE) capability within Accenture Technology. In this senior role, you will help us define and implement our AI adoption strategy across the capability, ensuring clear governance, frameworks, and skills to apply AI responsibly and effectively.

You will also contribute to shaping our AI offering, aligning assets and expertise so that Accenture can position itself as a trusted partner for clients. In addition to this internal focus, you will work directly with clients on complex transformation programs, bringing both an AI and architecture perspective to ensure successful project delivery.

Your job

As an AI Lead Architect, you will:

• Define and oversee the AI adoption strategy within S&PE, including governance, ways of working, and responsible AI practices.
• Shape the S&PE AI offering, creating assets, accelerators, and delivery models that can be leveraged across industries.
• Identify and develop the AI skill set needed within the capability to support future delivery projects (training, recruitment, knowledge sharing).
• Shaping and delivering complex client projects by providing an AI/architecture perspective, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with client needs.
• Drive strategic relationships across the AI ecosystem to accelerate innovation and impact.
• Act as a leader in AI within S&PE, fostering innovation and contributing to internal and client-facing discussions.
• Contribute to sales and opportunity shaping by bringing an AI architecture viewpoint.

Your background

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data/AI, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture and consulting.
• Strong expertise in AI, data platforms, and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Proven experience in defining and implementing technology strategies or governance frameworks.
• Experience supporting client-side delivery with an AI/architecture perspective.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English (French and/or Dutch is a plus).
• Experience with AI frameworks, AI ethics, or compliance (nice to have).
• Familiarity with AI delivery models in complex organizations (nice to have).
• Experience in capability building (training, recruitment, mentoring) (nice to have).

Certifications

• Cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent).
• AI/ML certifications (Microsoft, AWS, Google, or other recognized providers).
• TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.
