Summary:

As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or SaaS applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role requires adapting application features, managing software releases, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works closely with various teams to align solutions with organizational goals, utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms. Attention to maintaining compatibility and seamless operation across different environments is a key aspect of daily activities, ensuring that the applications continue to deliver value effectively and efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and improve team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Oil & Gas Downstream.
• Strong knowledge of configuring and customizing packaged or SaaS applications within the oil and gas downstream sector.
• Experience working with APIs and integration tools to connect various software components and external systems.
• Familiarity with low-code platforms to streamline application development and deployment processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues while maintaining application stability and performance.
• Understanding of release management processes and best practices to ensure smooth software updates.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Oil & Gas Downstream.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
