Summary:

As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. We are looking for an accomplished Migration – Basis &DB Expert who is well versed in delivering consistent and high-quality results to join our SAP Enterprise Cloud Services team. You will contribute to SAP's strategy by supporting our customers with their SAP S/4HANA adoption on their path to the Intelligent Enterprise.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME. Understanding of ECS Architecture is a must.
  • As a Migration – Basis & DB Expert, you will be responsible for the technical and architectural discussions with the customer, solution roadmap development.
  • Analyze and implement SAP support methodology.
  • Bring comprehensive knowledge on SAP S/4HANA architecture, conversion, and migration path.
  • Understand the SAP high availability or disaster recovery architecture, network, and virtualization technologies (e.g., load-balancer, virtual machine etc.).
  • Ability to own, lead ,Execute and coordinate migration related tasks and activities, including Lift& Shift migrations, S/4 HANA conversions, Database Migrations Option(DMO) & upgrades.
  • Deliver high quality migration service, ensuring stable operations.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
  • Minimum 10+ years of SAP Technical Administration (preferably in the domain of SAP Basis skill)
  • Experience in Lift and Shift migrations, knowledge on migrations to cloud will be beneficial.
  • Experience in S/4 HANA conversions and upgrades including Database migration option (DMO)
  • Ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team (remote).
  • Strong background in SAP Solutions, products, and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to coordinates delivery and projects as a technical lead in a heterogeneous environment.
  • Good knowledge on S/4HANA architectures and migration paths and tools.
  • Good understanding of capabilities of at least one Hyperscale Clouds (AWS MS Azure or GCP).
  • Experience on at least 1 Brownfield OS/DB migration to any hyperscalers (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Solid understanding as well as experience in SAP HANA/ASE
  • Additional knowledge on SQL/Max Db desirable
  • Experience in Technical Architecture/Implementation/Change Management approaches

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
  • Should be ok to work for rotational/night shifts.
  • Certified on SAP S/4HANA conversion and OS/DB Migrations will be beneficial.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
