As a Data Migration Engineer, a typical day involves managing the entire data migration lifecycle by extracting data from various sources, transforming it to meet the target system's requirements, and loading it accurately. The role includes building and executing migration scripts, monitoring processes to ensure data integrity, and validating outcomes to maintain consistency. Collaboration with different teams to align migration activities with project goals and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the migration process are also key aspects of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Oversee the planning and execution of data migration strategies to ensure seamless transitions.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align migration objectives with business requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering, Python (Programming Language), Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and workflows.
• Expertise in data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data migration processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Knowledge of data validation and quality assurance methodologies.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
