Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Science Consultant/Team Lead to lead innovative projects and drive impactful solutions in domains such as Consumer Tech,Enterprise Tech, and Semiconductors. This role combines hands-on technical expertise,team leadership, and client delivery management to execute cutting-edge projects in Generative AI, decision science, and cloud-based analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Project and Team Leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver data science solutions, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.
• Independently manage end-to-end client engagements, including scoping, planning, delivery, and stakeholder communication.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Generative AI Expertise

• Design and deploy GenAI solutions (NLP, CV, multimodal) using advanced frameworks.
• Architect agentic AI workflows with Lang Chain, Llama Index, Auto Gen, and enterprise integrations.
• Optimize AI agents and RAG pipelines (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus) for accuracy and scalability.
• Advise clients on GenAI adoption, aligning solutions with business objectives and tech ecosystems.

Cloud Platform Expertise

• Design and deliver cloud-native AI/ML platforms on Azure, AWS, or GCP, ensuring scalability, security, and cost optimization across client environments.
• Advise on MLOps best practices – from model training and deployment to monitoring and governance – leveraging platforms such as Sage Maker, Azure Machine Learning, and Vertex AI.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise data ecosystems, including data lakes, warehouses, and real-time pipelines.

Data Science and Engineering

• Develop and scale advanced ML solutions (predictive modeling, recommendation engines, optimization algorithms) that directly impact business outcomes.
• Lead the design of robust data architecture and feature engineering pipelines, supporting GenAI and ML applications across structured, unstructured, and multimodal datasets.

Business Impact and Innovation

• Translate business challenges into actionable data science solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to design data-driven strategies and identify opportunities for innovation.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years in data science, including team leadership and independent client delivery.
• Education: Master’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field).
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in Consumer Tech,Enterprise Tech, or Semiconductors.

Technical Skills

• Programming: Proficiency in Python,SQL, and libraries for NLP and Computer Vision (e.g., Hugging Face, OpenCV).
• GenAI Expertise: Hands-on experience in model development (selection, fine-tuning), model evaluation and optimization, deployment architecture (design, API/integration design), multi-step reasoning workflows, and autonomous agents
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure and/or AWS in data science workflows.
• Data Science Tools: Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, Py Torch).
• GenAI & LLM Tooling : Lang Chain, Llama Index, Hugging Face Transformers, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, especially services like S3, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Data Lake.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in decision science projects focused on marketing,supply chain, or sales.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in quantitative discipline and experience in working with Hi-Tech clients

• This position is based at our Bengaluru (preferred), Kolkata and Hyderabad office.
