The BI & Reporting Senior Analyst (CL09) is the technical lead for the reporting and visualization workstream. This role independently owns complex dashboard development, automation of reporting pipelines, and the establishment of BI standards. The CL09 exercises significant autonomy, requires minimal managerial direction on technical matters, and is expected to mentor the CL10. The CL09 translates analytics requirements from the onshore Analytics Partner into scalable BI solutions. Data Management involves the process of collecting, storing, organizing, and maintaining data. It ensures that data is accurate, accessible, and secure. The goal is to support decision-making, improve efficiency, and comply with regulations by effectively handling data throughout its lifecycle. Primary skillsets often include Data Engineering with AWS.
What are we looking for? • Power BI / Tableau (expert level) • Dashboard UX design (executive storytelling) • DAX / LOD expressions / advanced calculations • Strong understanding of Workday environment • Advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, optimization) • Data modelling (star schema, dimensional models) • Advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, optimization) • Data modelling (star schema, dimensional models) • Workday / SAP Success Factors / Oracle HCM • HR data structures & schemas • BI standards creation - standards & governance • Code/report reviews • Mentoring junior analysts • 5–8 years of experience in BI, data visualization, or HR reporting • Expert-level proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI including calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, and DAX • Strong SQL skills for complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance-optimized queries • Experience with HR data platforms such as Workday, SAP Success Factors, or Oracle HCM • Understanding of data modelling concepts (star schema, dimensional modelling) • Ability to work independently on ambiguous requirements and deliver polished outputs • Bachelor s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field •

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex, multi-layer dashboards and executive scorecards using Tableau or Power BI • Establish and enforce BI standards: naming conventions, colour palettes, layout templates, and data refresh protocols • Own the development and maintenance of automated standard reporting packs (monthly headcount, attrition, DEI, hiring funnels) • Translate analytics requirements received from the Analytics Partner/Consultant into technical BI specifications • Review and quality-assure the work of the CL10 BI Analyst before submission • Optimize dashboard performance, including data model efficiency and query tuning • Identify opportunities to consolidate ad-hoc reports into self-service dashboards • Maintain comprehensive BI documentation: data dictionaries, metric definitions, and dashboard user guides • Collaborate with Data Engineers to define data requirements and validate data layers • Overall Workday reporting support
