Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands continuous alignment of development efforts with organizational goals, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and maintain high performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive innovation and maintain quality standards is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering an environment of technical excellence and strategic growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead the design and delivery of intelligent asset management solutions, leveraging best practices in asset management, reliability engineering, and maintenance strategies
Drive end-to-end client engagements, from requirement gathering and solution architecture to implementation and value realization
Provide strategic guidance on leveraging data, analytics, and AI/ML to enable predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and performance optimization

Professional & Technical Skills:

Oversee integration of enterprise systems (SAP IAM, Maximo, IoT platforms) to create a connected asset ecosystem
Lead data-driven transformation initiatives, including asset data governance, performance monitoring, and digital twin enablement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, IT, data, and operations) to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions
Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring quality delivery and capability building within the team
Engage with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into innovative, technology-enabled solutions
Drive continuous improvement by identifying optimization opportunities across asset lifecycle management
Support business development through solutioning, proposal creation, and thought leadership in Industry X and asset management

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Assets Reliability and Maintenance Management.
This position is based at our Pune office.
