Summary:

The role involves designing, configuring, and maintaining F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM systems to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of application delivery. The candidate will lead end-to-end deployment and lifecycle management of F5 platforms, support transformation initiatives, and implement SSL/TLS offloading and certificate lifecycle automation using Venafi. This position requires strong collaboration with architecture, network engineering, and security teams to deliver resilient traffic management solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

-F5 Platform Management: Design, deploy, and maintain F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM systems across production, DR, and non-production environments. Perform capacity planning, firmware upgrades, and version standardization for platform stability and compliance. Support migrations (e.g., i Series to r Series) and onboarding of new applications.
-Traffic Management: Configure and optimize virtual servers, pools, monitors, profiles, and i Rules.
Develop and troubleshoot i Rules and i Apps for complex traffic steering and security use cases.
Handle both project onboarding and BAU operational changes following change management processes.
-Documentation & SOPs: Maintain updated documentation for configurations, workflows, and design standards. Create SOPs for recurring tasks like onboarding, failover testing, and certificate renewals.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for operations and project teams.
-SSL/TLS & Certificate Management: Implement SSL/TLS offloading and manage client/server-side SSL profiles. Automate certificate deployment and participate in compliance reviews. Integrate Venafi for centralized certificate lifecycle management and enforce PKI governance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

-Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM platforms.
-Proficiency in traffic management configurations, i Rules, and i Apps.
-SSL/TLS configuration and certificate lifecycle management.
-Experience with Venafi integration for automation.
-Ability to lead end-to-end design and deployment initiatives.
-Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
-Documentation and process standardization capabilities.
