Understand and translate customer needs into business and technology solutions. Drive discussions and consult on transformation, the customer journey, functional/application designs and ensure technology and business solutions represent business requirements.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Utilities EDI Integrations Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations within Oracle Utilities applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities products, integration frameworks, message processing, and utility market transactions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain EDI integrations for Oracle Utilities applications such as:
Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B)
Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM)
Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter (C2M)
Develop and support inbound/outbound interfaces for utility market transactions.
Configure and develop integrations using:
Oracle Utilities Integration Framework:
Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML/XSD, JMS, Batch Processing
Work on EDI transaction processing such as: 814 (Enrollment), 867 (Usage), 810 (Billing), 820 (Payment), 997 Functional Acknowledgements
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to EDI transactions and integrations.
Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and external market participants.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
Prepare technical design documents and deployment documentation.
Ensure compliance with utility market standards and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
-Strong experience in Oracle Utilities CC&B / MDM / C2M
-Hands-on experience in Oracle Utilities EDI integrations
-Proficiency in: Java, SQL / PL-SQL, XML / XSLT, Web Services (SOAP/REST), Oracle Database
-Experience with:Oracle SOA / OIC (preferred), Message queues / JMS, Batch framework
-Strong understanding of Utility Retail Market processes
-Knowledge of deregulated utility market transactions
-Understanding of billing, meter-to-cash, and customer lifecycle processes
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Utilities EDI Integrations Developer
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
