Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure that solutions meet evolving business requirements. Throughout the day, the engineer focuses on enhancing existing functionalities and implementing new features using contemporary development methodologies. This position emphasizes delivering scalable and efficient software that aligns with organizational goals while adapting to changing project demands and priorities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges that impact project delivery and quality.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure alignment and timely completion of project milestones.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• 5–8 years of experience in ETL/ELT development, with at least 3–5 years in ODI.
• Strong experience with ODI 12c
• Knowledge Modules (IKM, LKM, CKM, RKM, JKM)
• ODI architecture and components
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with SCD Type 2 implementation in ODI.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
