Summary:

As an AI / ML Engineer, a typical day involves designing and building advanced applications and systems that leverage artificial intelligence technologies. This role requires integrating cloud-based or on-premises pipelines to ensure solutions are production-ready and scalable. The work often includes applying generative artificial intelligence models to solve complex problems, as well as exploring various domains such as deep learning, neural networks, conversational agents, and image analysis. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance these intelligent systems is a key part of daily activities, ensuring innovative and efficient outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve system performance and reliability.
• Assist in documenting technical processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
• Key responsibilities
• Architect modular, goal-driven agents with planning, memory, tool use, and context-aware reasoning using Lang Chain, Lang Graph, CrewAI, Auto Gen, or Semantic Kernel.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines — chunking strategies, hybrid retrieval, re-ranking, and grounding — on vector stores (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS).
• Integrate LLM APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini implement function calling, MCP tool integrations, and multi-step orchestration.
• Apply advanced prompt engineering build evaluation harnesses (RAGAS, Deep Eval, Phoenix) to measure faithfulness, relevance, and hallucination rate.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and observable AI services on AWS / GCP / Azure.
• Contribute to code reviews, LLMOps practices, and continuous learning on emerging agentic-AI research.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Generative AI.
• Strong understanding of artificial intelligence frameworks and model deployment techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms and managing AI application pipelines in production environments.
• Familiarity with deep learning architectures and neural network design.
• Ability to develop and optimize conversational AI systems and image processing applications.
• Must-have skills: AI/LLM-based systems (agents, RAG, orchestration), AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Azure OpenAI), Lang Chain / Lang Graph / CrewAI, vector databases, Python, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, cloud deployment.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Generative AI.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
• Experience: 5–8 years in software engineering with 2+ years hands-on in GenAI / agentic AI systems.
