THE WORK:

We are seeking experienced Control Systems Engineers to successfully execute and deliver process control system engineering services.

• For the successful candidate the position will offer the opportunity to join a dynamic team developing leading solutions in Process Control, PLC, SCADA, Safety, Telemetry, and Industrial IT.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Background in industrial control systems design, programming, and implementation

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field

• Expert knowledge of control system programming languages (ladder logic, structured text, function block etc.)

• Hands-on experience with multiple PLC brands/platforms (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider etc.)

• Knowledge of industrial network/communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus etc.)

• Excellent documentation skills with ability to create functional specifications, drawings, manuals, FAT and SAT documents etc.

• Experience with instrumentation/field devices, wiring, terminations

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Practical Site experience of automation systems (commissioning and fault-finding experience essential)

• Schneider M580 Programming will be highly regarded.

• Preferably from mining, chemical, utilities, water, natural resources, or power industries

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE / PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

• Strong communication skills for facilitating design reviews

• Well-developed interpersonal skills

• TUV Machine Safety and TUV Functional Safety are an advantage

• Supervisory experience is an advantage
