Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the application meets the intended requirements. The position demands proactive problem-solving, continuous communication with team members, and managing priorities to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently. The engineer acts as the central liaison, facilitating collaboration and driving the project forward through all phases of implementation and deployment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the planning and execution of application development activities to meet project goals.
• Mentor junior team members to support their growth and enhance team capabilities.
• Ensure alignment of technical solutions with organizational standards and best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Service Now Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
• Strong knowledge of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
• Experience in configuring and customizing Service Now modules to meet business needs.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable applications.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Service Now Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
