Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Azure and GCP to support, manage, and optimize IaaS and PaaS services across cloud environments. The role will be responsible for provisioning, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and platform services while ensuring availability, performance, security, and operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

-Lead and manage end-to-end cloud infrastructure operations across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
-Ensure high availability, stability, and performance of cloud-hosted applications and services.
-Lead, mentor, and manage L1/L2 cloud operations support teams.
-Ensure all incidents, service requests, and alerts are resolved within defined SLAs.
-Drive efficient ticket triaging, troubleshooting, escalation handling, and resolution.
-Act as the primary point of contact for major incidents and coordinate with L3, engineering, and vendors.
-Monitor and control support queues to minimize backlog.
-Drive incident management including major incident handling, RCA tracking, and service restoration.
-Implement problem management practices to identify recurring issues and ensure permanent fixes.
-Oversee change management across production and non-production environments.
-Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and operational governance standards.
-Establish proactive monitoring for cloud infrastructure, services, and workloads.
-Ensure alerts are properly reviewed, classified, and actioned.
-Improve service reliability through automation, preventive maintenance, and standardization.
-Ensure compliance with security standards and collaborate on remediation activities.
-Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
-Drive continuous improvement across monitoring, alerting, access control, and cloud governance.
-Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to enhance platform stability and maturity.
-Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation.
-Engage stakeholders through regular updates, dashboards, and operational reporting.
-Manage team capacity, shift planning, resource allocation, and performance.
-Support team development through coaching, training, and upskilling initiatives.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps, Microsoft Azure PaaS, AWS Administration, Google Cloud Platform Administration.
    -Strong operational knowledge of at least two or more cloud platforms(Azure/Aws/GCP)
    -Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure Iaa

S and PaaS services:

-Experience in handling cloud operations, incident management, and service delivery in enterprise environments.
-Experience managing support teams handling L1 and L2 cloud infrastructure operations.
-Good understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
-Experience with monitoring / observability tools and ticketing platforms.
-Strong people management and team leadership capabilities.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operations environment.
-Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
-Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
