At Accenture Bulgaria, we are expanding our AI & Cloud Engineering capability and are looking for an AI / Automation Engineer to join our teams working on next‑generation,agentic AI solutions for enterprise-scale operational environments.

What you’ll do

As part of Accenture’s technology practice, you will design and build intelligent AI agents that support and automate complex operational workflows in cloud environments.

• Design and develop agentic AI systems capable of reasoning, planning, and executing tasks
• Build AI agents that interact with APIs, monitoring systems, knowledge bases, and operational platforms
• Implement retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and context management mechanisms to enable informed decision‑making
• Develop autonomous or semi‑autonomous workflows, where AI agents analyze situations, propose actions, and execute tasks when appropriate
• Design and implement scalable backend services enabling agent interaction with enterprise and cloud platforms
• Deploy and operate cloud‑native AI solutions, ensuring reliability, observability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with Accenture domain experts, cloud, and platform teams to translate operational processes into AI‑driven workflows
• Continuously improve agent performance through evaluation, prompt refinement, tool integration, and optimization

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3–5+ years of professional experience with Python
• Strong experience across the full software development lifecycle
• Experience building REST APIs and backend services
• Hands‑on experience with LLM‑based applications and agent workflows
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, tool integration, and RAG architectures
• Experience with vector databases and context management
• Practical understanding of AI security and safety (prompt injection, data privacy, least‑privilege access)
• Experience using Git in a professional environment
• Very good English communication skills
• Ability to clearly explain complex technical topics and propose structured, iterative solutions
• Motivation to work in an agile, collaborative environment
