Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure that solutions meet evolving business requirements. The work environment is dynamic, often involving iterative development cycles and the application of modern methodologies to enhance system performance and scalability. Problem-solving and innovation are key aspects, as the engineer refines existing functionalities and contributes to the overall software architecture to support organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

-Provide Application Maintenance (L2/L3)and Development (enhancement) support for SAP S/4HANA Plan-to-Make QM processes.
-Configure and maintain SAP QM processes, including inspection planning, quality notifications, results recording, and certificate management.
-Support integration of QM with Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Plant Maintenance (PM).
-Work with ABAP developers to design and implement custom enhancements, reports, and interfaces for QM.
-Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks
-Conduct testing (unit, integration, UAT).
-Document QM configurations, processes, and enhancements for audit and knowledge sharing.
-Support end-users on SAP QM functionalities.

Professional & Technical Skills:

-Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
-9+ years of experience in SAP Quality Management (QM) with exposure to SAP S/4HANA.
-Strong knowledge of Plan-to-Make processes with a focus on quality management.
-Experience in SAP application maintenance and development projects.
-Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps for quality management and shop floor execution.
-Exposure to integration with PP, MM, SD, PM, and FI/CO modules.
-Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and compliance requirements
-SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – Quality Management in SAP S/4HANA) are highly desirable.
-SAP QM configuration and customization
-Inspection planning, quality notifications, results recording, certificate management
-Integration with PP, MM, SD, PM, FI/CO
-Deep understanding of quality management processes and workflows
-Ability to translate business requirements into SAP QM solutions
-Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks in manufacturing and quality.
-Knowledge of ITIL processes.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Quality Management (QM).
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
