As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying quality processes and utilizing automation tools and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role focuses on overseeing the entire quality engineering function with an emphasis on automation, aiming to improve control, accuracy, and data integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. This position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software solutions, while driving innovation in testing approaches and maintaining rigorous standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the testing framework.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and quality standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools relevant to data warehousing environments.
• Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes.
• Ability to analyze complex data flows and validate data transformations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Familiarity with scripting languages and automation technologies to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Understanding of data quality concepts and best practices in data validation and verification.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
