Summary:

As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying structured quality processes and leveraging automation tools to enhance testing products and solutions. In this role, you will go beyond script development to design, build, and scale a robust automation framework using Playwright as the core testing tool. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset with strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript-based automation frameworks and enterprise-level implementation.
Your responsibilities will include continuous testing (functional, API, regression, and security), building automation strategies, and integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality releases.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Lead the design and development of scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to key technical decisions.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts across UI, API, and regression layers.
• Build reporting and observability dashboards for test execution and quality metrics.
• Participate in code reviews, defect tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and mentor team members.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for testing processes and frameworks.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Strong proficiency in Automated Testing with Playwright using Typescript or JavaScript and FIX experience.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript (preferred) / JavaScript
• Good to Have: Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Experience in API testing and integration testing
• Knowledge of test reporting tools and dashboards
• Familiarity with performance and security testing methodologies
• Understanding of Dev

Ops and Continuous Testing practices:

• Understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance processes.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
